Meet The Founders
Shivani is a resident physician at Duke who is passionate about improving wellness and quality of life amongst resident physicians. She is acutely aware of the difficulties that ambitious individuals face in balancing their career and personal lives, especially with the rigorous demands of the medical field. After living in multiple cities across the Eastern seaboard for college and medical school, Shivani experienced the discomfort associated with being uprooted from familiar surroundings. ForeveRx, which was started as a passion project, morphed into something much more when Shivani and her brother realized there was an inherent void in the mobile and online dating landscape for healthcare professionals.
Sagar is a second generation hotelier and entrepreneur with diversified interests. He’s driven by a passion for hospitality while being a solutions oriented leader in his industry. Coming from a family of physicians, while Sagar took a different professional path, he remains well aware of the sacrifices and lifestyle balance issues that come with being in the healthcare world. Inspired by his sister Shivani’s story as well as being active in the dating scene himself, both siblings set out to develop a modern dating and matchmaking experience catered towards those in the healthcare profession. By blending best practices and introducing industry-first features to the mobile matchmaking sector, Sagar and Shivani are dedicated to positively impacting the personal lives of healthcare professionals.
