Pulse Check: Reflections From Our Founder

Happy New Year!

I’m Shivani, co-founder of ForeveRx, and I’m excited to share that I’m finally bringing an idea to life that I’ve been toying with for years—creating a blog to document my journey through medical school and residency. Launching this blog through ForeveRx feels like a natural fit.

ForeveRx was born during the COVID pandemic as a way to foster a community for healthcare professionals at various stages of training and career. Fast forward a few years, and the need for a supportive, like-minded community like this is even more apparent. Residency is a time of immense professional growth, regardless of specialty or place of practice. But it’s also a time when burnout often emerges for the first time, and mental health struggles become all too common.

When I began my residency, I wished for a space where I could openly share my thoughts and connect with peers without fear of judgment or being labeled as anything less than a capable and intelligent physician. This blog aims to be that space—a place for candid conversations, support, and shared experiences.

If you’ve made it this far, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with wellness, healing, and moments that bring you pure joy, both in and outside the hospital.

Cheers!
